Troubleshooting Wiring Issue On 1993 Jayco Eagle 10 Pop Up Trailer

Question:
All my trailer lights work when my truck lights are off. When I turn on my running lights or head lights I dont have turn signal lights or brake lights. Running lights still works. Thanks for any help.

It sounds like you have a bad ground or you need a powered trailer harness. When you turn your headlights or running lights on, the power draw is too great to run the other trailer fuctions. This can be due to a bad ground, so I would check that first. You want to make sure you have a clean metal to metal connection on your trailer. The next thing is to check your trailer connection itself for corrosion and clean it as needed.
Finally, if it is not a bad ground or corroded connection, you will need a powered trailer wiring harness. I recommend the Tekonsha ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT for this application. It will draw power from your battery to boost your trailer wiring functions.
