Question:
This is going on a 2014 Cadillac SRX. The panel on the bumper is shown removed for install is this able to go back on when not towing?

Expert Reply:
Per the installation instructions, all of the hitches available for your 2014 Cadillac SRX, including the Curt # C12070, will require the removal of the center rear fascia. This will not be re-installed due to the space that the hitch takes up.
Keep in mind that the Curt Class II hitch # C12070 requires the use of a stabilization strap, like part # 18050, with non-trailer loads like bike racks, cargo carriers, and the like. Failure to do so will result in a voided warranty per Curt.
