How Does Fire Extinguisher Mount QF20020 Release from Holding the Tank

Question:
You have wonderful instructions, video, andc., regarding the installation of your rubber extinguisher restraint, but not ONE WORD about how one releases the strap. Does one simply pull outward on the strap to release? It really would be good if you included in your video the process for release. A fire extinguisher must be able to be released instantaneously without fiddling around.

You are correct, basically all you have to do is pull outward on the strap of the extinguisher carrier part # QF20020 to get it to release from the other side of the strap.
If you fast forward to the 1:00 mark of the video link I attached (probably below the parts links) you can see the smaller version of this carrier getting released.
