We do have a hydraulic disc brake kit that will fit 8 bolt hub, 8 on 6-1/2 Inch bolt pattern, 1/2 inch bolts. In addition to a hydraulic disk brake kit, you will also need a brake line kit, and a electric over hydraulic actuator, and a brake controller that is compatible with electric over hydraulic brakes.

For a disc brake kit to replace your drum brake assembly, you will need the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit, part # K2HR712, which is designed for 7,000 lb axles, 16 Inch or larger wheels. This Kodiak Disc Brake Kit is compatible with Inner Bearing # 25580 and Outer Bearing # 14125A. You will need to check your axle capacity, wheel size and trailer bearings to make sure part # K2HR712, will fit your trailer.

The Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2HR712, has the raw machine finish rotors and E-Coat which should work fine for your 5th Wheel Trailer. If you are interested in a different coating, we have part # K2HR712E which is the E-Coat, and part # K2HR712D which has a Dacromet finish. For your application, I would just go with part # KSHR712, the machined rotors and E-Coat Calipers.as the coated rotors are more for boat trailer applications.

If you want to add disc brakes to an idler axle, you would to use Kodiak Disc Brake Kit, part # K2R712, which is a slip on application to fit axles that did not previously have brakes. If you are adding disc brakes to an idler hub, you will need to make sure that axle has a brake mounting flange. If the axle does not, and you want to install brakes on it, you will need to have a trailer professional install one as it requires precision installation.

For a brake line kit, you will need Brake Lines and Fittings, part # 9504, if only installing disc brakes on one axle. If you will be installing disc brakes on 2 axles, you will need Brake Lines and Fittings, part # 9505.

You will also need Titan BrakeRite I Plug and Play Electric-Hydraulic Actuator Kit, part # T4813102, to receive the signal from the electronic brake controller and to activate the brakes.

You must also use a brake controller that is compatible with an electric over hydraulic brake system if you do not already have one. The Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller, part # 90885, would be a good option.
