The Curt Class III Receiver Hitch # C13194 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit the 2015 Lincoln MKC Reserve. Once installed, you will still be able to operate the auto liftgate feature. You will simply need to move to the left or right of the hitch receiver for the vehicle to better pick up your foot motion. I have attached the installation details for you to review.

This trailer hitch has a tongue weight capacity of 525 pounds and a gross towing weight of 3,500 pounds. It is custom fit for the Lincoln MKC so no drilling will be required, although keep in mind that the exhaust will need to be temporarily lowered for installation.

If you plan on doing any towing, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56262 to quickly install a 4-way trailer connector on the Lincoln MKC to power the trailer's signal lights. The T-connector will plug directly into existing wiring.

For towing you will also need a ball mount. I recommend looking at the etrailer.com Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit includes two ball mounts of different rise and drops as well as the two most common sized hitch balls.
