Adding Lights to a Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack on a 2015 Land Rover Evoque

There isn't anything specifically designed for lighting on a bike rack so you're going to have to be a little creative here.

Since the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 # SH22G is aluminum and you don't want to drill into it (Understandably so) you'll need to find a way to mount lights to it. Zip ties, like you mentioned, are going to be your best option. Tying a light like # ST45RB would be difficult to find a surface but might work. You'll also need a 3-wire connector # A45PB per light.

Then you'll need to connect the wire connectors to a trailer-side 4-way # 54000-026. The black wire from both lights will go to the brown wire of the harness, the whites will go to the white on the harness, the red on the left light goes to yellow, and red on the right goes to green. If you need more wiring you can use # 16-4B-1, which is sold by the foot.

If you don't already have a 4-way trailer connector on your 2015 Land Rover Evoque you can use # 118624 to add one. This plugs right into the vehicle's wiring located in the opening under the passenger's side, just to the right of the muffler. You'll need to remove a protective cap.
