On my 2006 Hyundia Santa FE which lines do I connect the filter to. I have the 2.7 engine. Has a rad cooler and factory air cooler. I do not know which line is out or return.

The remote transmission fluid filter # D13090 installs in line with the return line going back to the transmission on your 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe. To find the correct line there is a simple test you can do. Start the vehicle and put on the emergency brake and keep your foot on the regular brake. Shift the vehicle into gear for a few seconds then shift back into park and turn off the motor. One of the lines will be noticeably cooler than the other and that is the one you want.
