The best hitch option for your 2017 Nissan Rogue for use with a hitch bike rack is the 2-inch Class III hitch # 75902 from Draw-Tite. This hitch bolts on to the Rogue using included hardware; no drilling is required. An install video showing a 2016 model year is linked for you to illustrate the entire process.

Once this hitch is installed on your Rogue you can use a compatible 2-inch Class III hitch bike carrier. You will want to select a rack that offers at least 6-inches of clearance from the hitch pin hole to the vertical post as this will ensure the rack fits well at the back of the vehicle without making contact with any part of it.
