Is The Rated Load Capacity For The Taskmaster Provider ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire Per Axle?

Im interested in 4 maybe 5 TTWTRTM2157514D trailer tires. Its for a tandem boat trailer. It says the weight capacity is 2200 pounds is that for single axle or dual axle?

The load capacity of the Taskmaster Provider ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire, # TTWTRTM2157514D, is based on each tire. So, the 2200 pound capacity would be 4400 pounds per axle when tires are at 65 psi. Obviously, your trailer capacity will be limited by your weakest component, so you most likely have 3500 lb axles on your tandem axle boat trailer and your total weight capacity would be limited by your axles in this case and not the tires.

These are great tires with an 8 ply rating, a load range of D, and speed rating of M which is a maximum speed of 81 mph.
