The K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirror, part # KS62076GE is not a fit for your 2001 Silverado but we do have a mirror that will work for you.
I recommend the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirror, part # KS62140G. This mirror is a replacement for the factory mirror you have on your Silverado and when installed lets you use the factory controls in your truck. It also extends 4 inches to increase your line of sight when you are towing. This mirror is for the driver side. If you also need the passenger side mirror you would need part # KS62073G.
