Greetings: Will the Thule TH869 roof bag readily mount and match up with the Thule Canyon basket xt? Also, are the Thule Duffles waterproof or resistant? thanks

Yes, the Thule Interstate Cargo Bag part # TH869 would easily fit in the Thule Canyon part # TH859XT. The bag is also water resistant which means in a light rain the contents of the bag would stay dry but a heavy rain would allow water in.
Either way it's a good idea to wrap your cargo in a plastic bag.
