When trying to decide on a bike rack for a vehicle with a spare tire mounted on the back, there are some measurments that you have to consider. You want to measure from the center pin hole on the hitch to the very edge of the spare tire. This measuerment will help you determine the clearance you will need between the spare and the bike rack.

The Yakima RidgeBack 2 Bike Rack # Y02457 measures 11-1/2 inches in distance from the center pin to the upright mast of the bike rack. Therefore, you need to measure the center pin to edge of your spare to see if the Yakima rack will give you enough clearance.
