Helpful Expert Reply:
The Surco Universal Exterior RV Ladder with Center Hinges for Contoured Rear Wall, # SP501L, will work when mounted to a bumper depending of course on the bumper position. This probably isn't the best case scenario as it would be better for a ladder to stay as close to vertical as possible, and this is why most ladders end before the bumper. This particular ladder is 97 inches long, but can be cut to achieve proper fit.
If you are trying to get the ladder lower, you may be interested in the Surco RV Ladder Extension - Aluminum - 30-1/2" Long, # SP504L. This extension is designed to allow 4-Way adjustable feet at the bottom of the extension to rest against your RV bumper to provide stability. Padding on feet helps to prevent damage where feet make contact with bumper.
