Why Does Tow Hook of 2006 Dodge Ram Need Grinding to Install Front Hitch 65046

Question:
The hitch wont fit my truck with out grinding the flared lip of the bracket that holds my tow hooks. Is this my only option???

Sounds like you have a Laramie trim level on your 2006 Dodge Ram 2500. We have found that the Laramie models require slight grinding of the tow hooks to allow the hitch part # 65046 to install. I wish there was a way around the grinding but it's the best option.
