Question:

looking at Q@As seems 03-05 are the same? and may have to trim fascia on bumper? seems like a lot of stuff under the bumper area? radiators etc

When it comes to Draw-Tite front mount receiver # 65046 the 2003 to 2009 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 series will be the same. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view. I have also included a link to a video showing installation on a 2007 model that you can use as a guide for your 2004.

The receiver will be directly under the front air damn which is the lowest point at the front of the vehicle and there should not be anything in the way. It is possible that the air damn will need to be trimmed or it may be able to just be pushed up by the receiver.
