Do Longview Custom Towing Mirrors LVT-2300-C Interfere with Ford BLIS Warning System
Updated 10/12/2016 | Published 10/11/2016 >
Question:
LVT-2300-C Ive read that they fit the 2016 F-150 Lariat. However, what happens with one has the BLIS side warning system? Will I continually receive warning? As I believe the sensor is mounted on the mirrors? Thank you,

The Longview Custom Towing Mirrors # LVT-2300-C fit all the types of OEM mirrors offered on the 2015 Ford F-150 Lariat, manual, powered and heated.
The sensors for the Ford BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) are located in the taillight assemblies according to information I found on the Ford owner's forum. I found nothing to indicate the sensors are mounted in the side view mirrors. Your owner's manual should indicate details on the system installed in your F-150.
Some owner's of vehicles with the BLIS system have reported error messages during heavy rains and in snowy conditions. The system is intended to automatically re-set after such events.
