The Edge Evolution CTS3 programmer # EP59YR is indeed a fit for your 1999 Ford F-250 with the 5.4-liter motor. My favorite feature of this programmer is actually the large touch screen display. With a lot of programmers, the displays are fairly small and can be hard to see. This one has a 5-inch (diagonal) display, so visibility is not an issue.
You can also add a custom dash pod # EP28500 to make the addition of the programmer appear more like a factory component. This dash pod can be painted to match your interior.
