Question:
I have an F2430 kit that was installed on a 2008 Chevy 1500 Silverado Z71, I removed it when I traded the Truck for a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 max tow version with the 9.5inch rear axle and 6.2L engine. Your website lists the F2430 as fitting the 2014 truck but the lower brackets shown in the instructions are different from the ones I have, will they fit or can I buy the later brackets separately?

Helpful Expert Reply:
I spoke to my contact at Firestone and it appears that the lower brackets have under gone a design change for the # F2430 kit. Which is a confirmed kit for both your 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 and 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Max Tow.
What you will need to update the old style to the new is:
qty 2 of the lower bracket # F5781
qty 2 bail clamps # F3373
qty 2 bracket straps # F5360
and qty 1 hardware kit # FA21-760-2430
I have linked the above mentioned products to this page for your convenience.
