How Does the Hopkins Trailer Connector Tester Display Connection Problems

# 48503. Does anything light up if everything is ok? Like a green light etc., or does it only light when a problem exist?

The Hopkins 7-Way RV Style Trailer Connector w/ LED Test Lights # HM48503 does not light when there is an issue. The tester will display lights when the feature you are testing is sending a signal to the trailer as it should.

I've attached a video that demonstrates how the connector is used to test the different features.
