Can I use the one I put in my 2007 sonata

For your 2016 Hyundai Sonata the trailer wiring you used in your 2007 Sonata would not work. You would have to go with the part # C56247 that you referenced. The taillight setups between 2007 and 2016 were different enough to require a new trailer wiring harness.
