Question:

I have a 2015 Mazda 3 Hatch that does NOT have led taillights. I dont want to splice into my wiring, so looking at the options, the Hopkins HM11141824 comes up under results for WITH or WITHOUT led lights, but mentions nothing about the lights in the description, whereas the Curt models do and the Curt models only offer a splicing setup option for non-led vehicles. I just wanted to verify that theres not an oversight in the compatibility of the Hopkins HM11141824 with my vehicles lighting requirements.

Hopkins does list wiring harness # HM11141824 as a fit for the 2015 Mazda 3, hatchback or sedan, with or without LED tail lights.

There is another option that is universal but does not require splicing. It is the ZCI harness # 119250KIT and it has connectors that clamp around the vehicle tail light wiring to sense the electricity flowing through. What makes this such a great option, besides the fact that you won't have to splice, is that you can use it on many vehicles. So if you changed vehicle in the future you could keep the wiring harness and likely use it on the next vehicle.
