Question:

I need to install a 2inch trailer hitch onto a 2016 wrangler unlimited Rubicon. This jeep has no factory installed wiring for a hitch. Can you give me a list of components I will need for 4 wire and seven wire setup. Also electric brake control. Thank you.

First let's start with a trailer hitch for your 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. For that the Curt hitch # 13432 is the best option as it has the best price and works well. I attached an install video.

For trailer wiring you would want the part # C55124 which is a confirmed fit. I attached an install video for this as well.

If you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
