Just making sure. Are these two parts compatible? Im working on a specialty installation for the bed of my truck. Both are M6 915-0640-11 Replacement M6 x 40 mm Carriage Bolt for Thule Hang Two or Get-A-Grip Roof Mounted Carrier 753-0776 Replacement 3-Wing, High M8 Hand Knob for Thule Roof Mounted Watersport Carriers

If you wanted a 3 wing knob that would fit the carriage bolt part # 915-0640-11 that you referenced you would actually want the part # 753-0783 which is an M6 sized knob to match the bolt.
The other knob you referenced would be to big as it is a M8.
