Question:
I have a 2016 Ram 2500 and am having the ITB issue that owners are reporting. I was wondering if I purchase the P3 with ram harness is a plug and play? Can I just unplug my ITB and plug in the harness and have trailer brakes work?

Yes, you can replace your Ram's factory trailer brake controller with the reliable Prodigy P3 # 90195 and connect it using the wiring adapter # 3024-P. Disconnecting the ITB will cause a warning message to appear on the instrument cluster. In order to disconnect the ITBM and not get the warning lamp, your local Dodge dealer will have to reconfigure the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module), of the truck.
Please refer to the linked article for more on installing a Prodigy in your truck.
