Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta

Question:
Hi,I am installing a 56201 brake wiring kit,the supply dealer said it comes up as discontinued? ,vehicle is 2010 Jetta TDI 4dr.sedan,they still had the wiring kit in stock.has there been a change to this part or is it still ok to use??,thanks ,

The Hopkins wiring harness # HM56202 replaced the older 56201 that you mentioned. That being said these harnesses are for Jeep Wranglers and would not be what you would need for your 2010 Jetta.
Instead you would want the Tow Ready Harness part # 118667 which is a confirmed fit for your Jetta.
