Recommended Boat Cover for a 18' x 98" V-Hull Boat

Question:

I have a River Hawk- Sport fishing boat that is a 18 foot deep V-Hull aluminum. I measured the width of the boat and it is 98inch wide. The length measured at 186. The width is the maximum for one of your boat cover with the next largest boat cover advertised for boats that are 102inch wide. If the 98inch cover is wide enough to provide a nice tight fit than great, but I was wondering if I should get the next wider size to ensure proper coverage. I appreciate any recommendations you can provide.

As long as your boat's beam (width of the widest point) does not exceed the 98 inches, the Classic Accessories DryGuard Boat Cover for 98" Beam # CA20085, it will fit your boat. I would not recommend choosing the larger size as boat covers are meant to fit snug to act as a seal to protect your boat.

However, if your boat beam is a little larger than 98" I would recommend the Classic Accessories DryGuard Waterproof Boat Cover for a 102" Beam # CA20086. This cover will provide the best protection for a boat between 98-1/4" and 102"diameter.
