The Surco Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Basket # SPS4560-1101 would fit the raised rails you have on your 2016 Jeep Renegade and would not require the installation of crossbars.
You can measure your Renegade's roof surface area to see if this 60 x 45-inch basket will fit to your satisfaction. If you find this basket too long you can instead use Surco's # SPS4550-1101 which is 50-inches long with the same 45-inch width.
