Question:
Hi. I just wanted to double check the tow hitch model numbers that will fit my 2000 accord coupe 2.3ltr. Does the coupe accept same as sedan? #C11290 And do u know approximate location for plug n tow #43105 female end in my vehicle. Do I have to unplug existing light harness to plug in the trailer harness or is there an empty accessory plug already located in my vehicle? Thanks so much.

The trailer hitches we offer for the 2000 Honda Accord are confirmed to fit all models of the Accord, so they will work well on your coupe. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11290 that you referenced will work well on your Accord Coupe.
The Curt Hitch # C11290 has a maximum trailer towing capacity of 2,000 pounds and tongue weight capacity of 200 pounds. It is important to keep in mind that if your Accord's towing and tongue weight capacity is less than that of the hitch, your vehicle's capacity will limit how much weight you can tow. I have attached the installation instructions for you.
To install the Hopkins Vehicle Wiring Harness # 43105, the installation instructions indicate that for Honda the vehicle-side connector for the wiring harness is located inside the spare tire compartment of the vehicle. There may be a cap on this connector that will need to be removed before the # 43105 can be installed. I have linked the installation instructions for you.
If you need a drawbar and hitch ball, Curt recommend using the 2-1/8 Inch Rise or 2-3/4 Inch Drop # 3592. This drawbar uses a hitch ball with a 3/4 inch shank diameter like # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball. I've attached a help article on how to choose the correct rise/drop ball mount for you.
