Installing Brake Controller with Bare Wires on a 1999 Chevy Silverado with Pig Tail that has Plugs

I have a 1999 Silverado with the plugin for brake control but the brake control doesnt have a plugin on it.how do i wire it to the wireing harness. Dont know where the model number is on the brake controller can u help me with this?

On the brake controller wiring harness that you have you will need to cut off the connector from the end that would normally plug into a brake controller and then splice the wires from it to the wires on the brake controller. White is ground, black is 12 volt power, red is input from the brake switch, and blue is output to the trailer brakes.
There is a harness that is already made like this. One end plugs into the port on your 1999 Chevy Silverado and the other end just has the bare wires. It is # 3025-S.
There may also be some connections that you will need to make under the hood to make everything fully functional. I have included a link to a help article that covers this.
