What Gets Removed to Install Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica

Question:
I ordered trailer hitch and wiring harness from your website for Chrysler pacifica 2017. My question is about wiring harness. I understand that I have to remove some interior panels. Can you give me more details on how and which panels to remove. Just dont want to brake anything. Thank you.

I attached a couple pictures that I took from the install instructions for the trailer wiring harness part # 118712 that is confirmed as a fit for your 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. In the instructions a trim panel remover tool like part # ALL648544 is recommended.
You will also need a Torx T27 socket wrench to remove the taillights.
It's the underside body panel that actually gets removed and not any of the interior pieces.
