I have a 2016 Subaru Forester. I also have two Thule Bicycle carriers mounted on a Sportrack Frontier REf. 9 . This mounted on our 2007 Ford focus quite well. I now wish to move the Thules to the Forester as cost effectively as possible. The sr1009 was not appropriate and I am now wondering about the sr1098.

SportRack doesn't have a roof rack that will fit but I do have an even better roof rack that will fit the side rails on your 2016 Subaru Forester. And it does not cost much more. So what in need is the Inno roof rack # INB117 for the bars and # INFR for the feet.
The bars have the same dimensions as the Thule bars so your bike racks will fit. It also comes with locks and has a limited lifetime warranty.
