The item you selected, Thule Roof-Mounted Bike Carrier, part # TH859XT is designed to work with round, square, aero, elliptical, and most factory crossbars so it could work on your Hummer.
A Roof Mounted Bike Carrier I would recommend that would work with your Hummer, is the Fork Style Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part # S64710 . This bike carrier fits factory cross bars and will work great on your 2006 Hummer H3 with roof rack rail cross bars. Part # S64710, is similar to the Rola Roof-Mounted Bike Carrier, as it is also mounts to the forks on your bike, but is designed to fit factory roof rack crossbars.
Also, if you would like a place to carry the front wheel from the bike, you just need the Thule Front Wheel Holder # TH98BV that mounts directly to the crossbars on your 2006 Hummer H3.
