can it fit a 2016 Nissan Rogue, and How much does it weigh by itself, and with extensions if there is one.

I checked with Yakima and found that the LoadWarrior cargo basket # Y07070 will fit the factory roof rack and crossbars on a 2016 Nissan Rogue. If your Rogue does not have factory crossbars that run side to side you would first need some to be able to mount the basket.

If your 2016 Rogue has the factory side rails that run front to back you can add crossbars using SportRack roof rack # SR1098. This is a low cost option that will work great for this application.

If your Rogue does not have side rails or crossbars then I recommend a Rhino-Rack roof rack using the following parts:

Aero Crossbars # RRVA126B-2
Feet # RRRLKVA
Custom clamp kit # DK396

So no matter what the roof situation is for your Rogue we got you covered! The basket itself weighs 25 pounds without the extension, # Y07074. The extension adds another 7 pounds.

I also recommend a tire step, # ALL647596, which is safer to use than standing on the floor of the vehicle in an open doorway.
