Question:
my husband just purchased the Thule passage 2 bike rack. can this rack be used for both mens and womens bikes to be carried at the same time? Does one have to purchase a bar for the womens bike to be mounted on the rack?

Expert Reply:
Mens and Womens bikes can be carried at the same time on the Thule Passage Bike Rack, part # TH910XT. The need for the adapter bar, part # TH982XT will be determined by the angle of the top tube on the womens bike. If the angle is not very extreme the bike might ride fine, but because the rack is strapped to the vehicle you will want the bike to be balanced on the rack. I would recommend going with the adapter bar.
