Question:

I am looking for a hitch for a 2016 Dodge Journey that is hidden. I do not want to see the tubes hanging below the bumper. Any suggestions? Will part 87350 fit a 2016 Dodge Journey. Only using for a pick rack and small utility trailer. Thanks

Because of the close proximity of the spare tire to the rear bumper, it isn't possible to conceal the hitch crosstube behind the bumper of your 2016 Dodge Journey, therefore all the hitches we offer would have the hitch mostly visible from the rear of the vehicle.

Of the available hitches, the Curt Class III hitch, part # C13201 would be the least visible, because the cross tube bends upward on either side of the receiver tube, so it's a bit more concealed than the Draw-Tite or Hidden Hitch models available for your vehicle.

Since you'll be towing a small utility trailer, you'll need a few other items to complete your towing system:

Trailer wiring harness for Journey models with LED taillights # 118536
For models with incandescent taillights, use part # 118567
Ball mount, part # D-4
Hitch Pin and Clip, # PC3
1-7/8 inch ball mount, part # 19260 or # 63845 for a 2 inch

The Hidden Hitch # 87530 is a fit for a Dodge Ram truck, unfortunately it won't fit your Journey.
