Is tionneau cover water resistant or waterproof

The Bestop EZ Fold Folding Tonneau Cover, part # B1624001 is water resistant but is not waterproof. Per the instructions that are included with the tonneau cover, water may be seeping in on the seams but you can treat the seams with 3M Scotchguard to stop the leaks.
If it is critical to keep something dry I recommend placing it in a waterproof container and elevating it a little off the floor of the bed to make sure water or moisture stays out.
