Question:
I have read the installation instructions and you have to drill a 1/2 inch hole in the lower control arm for the air line to pass through I am having them installed by a very good auto repair shop do you think they will have a problem doing this. Will this weaken the control arm any i dont think so only I am asking. Thank You

Expert Reply:
According to our friends at Firestone, drilling the hole in the control arm will not weaken or otherwise damage the vehicle.
The hole is absolutely necessary to provide access for the air line to connect to the bottom of the Coil Rite air spring.
