Husky Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Recommendation for a 2008 Ford F-250 Short Bed

Question:

2008 F250 6-3/4 bed. I have the Husky 16k slider Im moving to this truck. Application shows a 31412 and 31408, what is the difference as no additional information contained I description. Thank you

I checked with Husky Towing and the difference between the two fifth wheel kits part # HT31408-686 and # HT31412-686 is the vehicles the two are designed to fit. There is a bit of overlap between what the two kits will fit though and I think that is where the confusion comes from.

The 31408 fits 08-16 Ford F-250/350/450 Super Duty, whereas the 31412 fits 05-16 Ford F-350 plus 08-09 F-450 Super Duty (except 11-16 Diesel Pickups).

Since you have an F-250 you would then want the part # HT31408-686.
