The Curt hitch part # C11083 has been confirmed as a fit for your 2001 Volkswagen Jetta Wagon and would have the capacity to tow a trailer as long as it weighed less than 2,000 lbs. You will need to check the owners manual of your vehicle to make sure that it also has the needed capacity to tow your Jet Ski trailer.
For a 1-7/8 inch ball mount you would want the part # C45561 or for a 2 inch ball mount # C45562. For trailer wiring you would then want the part # C56175.
