Will the Chrome Rust Or Fade On The AMG Hitch Cover, # AMG100185

Question:
Is this for sure guaranteed not to rust? My husband bought an all chrome one a year ago, not sure where from, and it has rust spots all over it. Would love to get him a new one for our 10th anniversary.

The AMG Hitch Cover, # AMG100185, is a black powder coated hitch cover with a chrome-plated emblem. It is rustproof and the emblem is fade proof. This is a high quality hitch cover, so you should not have any problems with the chrome on this hitch cover.
The only problems with any chrome plating is if there is damage to the chrome itself from being hit, which can cause the plating to crack and start peeling. It is recommended to wax the chrome once or twice a year to protect it from any scratches it might get.
