How long does it take to install this base plate, and do I need to remove parts of the grill, bumper, etc. to install?

The Roadmaster MX Base Plate Kit, # 1427-3, fits the 2006 to 2010 Jeep Commander (All Models) and it fits the 2005 to 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee (No SRT, No Brushguard). The manufacturer estimates an average dealer install time of 2 hours, so we would at least double that time to 4 hours for a mechanically inclined individual.
To install on either Jeep vehicle it does require you to remove the grille, fascia and frame rail covers. They will all be reinstalled at the end of the installation. You will also have to remove the tow hooks permanently.
On the Jeep Commander you will have to trim the fascia on both sides before reinstalling.
