If you are planning on towing with your 2009 Kia Spectra you will want the Curt, part # C11679, as it has been confirmed as a fit. You'll also need a ball mount, # 3593, which includes a pin and clip.
This hitch has a 2,000 lb total trailer and 200 lb tongue weight capacity. You will need to stay under this capacity as well as the towing capacity listed in the owner's manual of the vehicle. In the owner's manual will be info on whether or not you can tow with your vehicle.
To complete your towing setup, you would also want the hitch ball # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball or part # 19258 for a 2 inch hitch ball. For trailer wiring you would want the # C59236.
