Question:
I have tow plates on my 2003 Dakota so I need to know the specs measurements for bolting the Curt Front Hitch - 31080 to the front frame. I have 35inch span with the tow plate mounted.

Basically you are going to have to pick which you would rather have installed on your 2003 Dodge Dakota. You can either have front hitch part # 31080 installed or the base plate kit that you currently have installed since they are going to both occupy the same place.
I spoke with my contacts at Roadmaster and they compared the install locations on both products and said that since they will occupy the same install brackets and area they wouldn't play well together.
