Question:
RP30047 Vs P530855, what are the benefits of the first reese over the second pro, what benefits do I get for more money thank you

Expert Reply:
The 16K-rated Pro Series # PS30855 and the Reese # RP30047 both feature a 4-way pivoting head assembly to simplify hitching your trailer on uneven ground as well as a dual-jaw system for better grip on your king pin. The key difference between the two is the length of the warranty - 10 years for the Pro Series and Limited Lifetime for the Reese.
Also, we have spoken with Cequent who is the manufacturer of Reese and Pro Series and they state that the Reese hitch is built with sturdier parts.
