2000 gmc yukon factory trailer package ..i hooked up theTekonsha 90195 P3 ..i have no trailer to test with yet..but when i press the manual over ride my brake lights come on? is that normal.. not running and no key on..

When you slide the manual slide on the Tekonsha Prodigy P3, part # 90195, the brake lights will illuminate.
I spoke with my contact at Tekonsha and they told me that the brake controllers have added this feature for the last 3 years so that is a normal feature you see.
