Troubleshooting Draw-Tite Time Delayed Brake Controller With Setting Stuck At 2

Question:

My controller will not let me go up or down. It is stuck at 2.

Expert Reply:

Since your controller will not change from 2 on your Draw-Tite Brake Controller, part # 5504, you can first try unplugging the controller and then wait about 15 seconds. Plug it back in and see if it resets itself and make your adjustments at that time.

If that does not work you should be able to press the brake pedal for about 10 seconds and then make the adjustments for the controller.

If either of these options do not work and your brake controller is still stuck at 2, you may have a bad controller and it will need to be replaced.
