Question:
Morning, I purchased the trailer hitch and electrical harness for a Dodge Nitro 2008. The bolts will not thread into the frame nut. Sorry, do not have the invoice handy. Please advise.

It sounds like the weld nuts need to be cleaned. We recommend cleaning the weld nuts with some spray lubricant and a tube brush # 814092 or wire brush # DW00254. The tube brush will help clear out any dirt, debris, or rust that has built up over time and is preventing you from installing your Curt hitch # 13334.
I have attached a review video of the tube brush and an installation video of the hitch on a 2008 Nitro for you.
If cleaning the weld nuts does not help, please feel free to let me know and I will gladly look into other solution for you.
