Upgrading from 4 pin to seven pin trailer conector do I need new relay set or is the one I installed for the four pin the same?just need the seven pin plug at the rear hitch

If you have already installed the jumper harness with the 3 relays when you installed the 4-Way (# C56225 as an example) then you would just need # 118267 to upgrade to a 7-Way trailer connector. If you had not installed that jumper harness then you would need # 118266 which includes the harness and relays.
To activate the trailer brakes you will also need a brake controller and wiring harness if you don't already have them. I recommend the P2 brake controller # 90885 because it is easy to set up and use and is reliable. For a wiring harness for your 2012 Nissan Frontier and the P2 use # 3050-P.
