Can the Lubrimatic Heavy-Duty Grease Gun L30-192 be Suction Filled
Published 08/06/2015 >
Question:
I want to suction-fill a Lubrimatic Heavy-Duty Grease Gun L30-192. Its product description says this can be done. Besides the inconvenience of bulk refilling are there any problems using this gun this way? For example, would it leak more or wear out faster are the plunger seals well designed for this use? Is anyone using it this way?

Expert Reply:
The Lubrimatic Heavy-Duty Grease Gun # L30-192 that you referenced can be refilled by suction if you had access to a bulk grease source. There's really no downside to going that route aside from the actual refilling of the gun being potentially more messy than using a cartridge.
We haven't heard any negative things from our customers who have tried this gun. It should work well for you and the seals would hold up as well.
