Why Does the Tick Puller Product Description Say it Wont Damage the Tick

Question:
Why would one want to limit the damage to an insect tha has just taken a BITE out of you? Just wondering.

Expert Reply:
The idea is to get the tick out without leaving any portion of it in you. If you aren't careful the head of the tick can be left inside you when you remove the tick. Aside from that there's no reason I can think of to not damage the tick.
